Centros de detención de ICE por estado
ICE publica 160 centros de detención con dirección en Estados Unidos y sus territorios. Elija el estado para ver el teléfono, las reglas de visitas y cómo enviar dinero o correo a un detenido.
Si busca a un familiar, sabemos que es un momento difícil. Primero confirme dónde está con el localizador oficial de ICE; después llame al centro antes de visitarlo, porque las reglas cambian a menudo. El 29 de octubre de 2026, ice.gov mostraba un aviso de que, por la falta de fondos federales, el sitio no se estaba actualizando activamente; por eso cada centro indica la fecha de su página.1
Las primeras 48 horas: qué hacer, paso a paso
Cuando detienen a un familiar, lo más urgente es saber dónde está. Estos pasos siguen lo que ICE explica en sus propias herramientas.
- Búsquelo en el localizador oficial. El Sistema de Localización de Detenidos en Línea encuentra a personas bajo custodia de ICE o que llevan más de 48 horas bajo custodia de CBP; no busca a menores de 18 años. Con el número A, escriba los nueve dígitos (si tiene menos, agregue ceros al principio) y elija el país de nacimiento correcto. Sin número A, use el nombre y los apellidos exactos, el país de nacimiento y la fecha de nacimiento.2 Guía del localizador.
- Si no aparece, llame a ICE. La Línea de Información y Reportes para Detenidos (DRIL) atiende en el 1-888-351-4024, de lunes a viernes de 8 a. m. a 8 p. m. (hora del Este), con operadores en español. También puede llamar a la oficina de campo de ICE del área (lista más abajo).3
- Llame al centro antes de ir o de enviar algo. Cada centro tiene sus propias reglas de visitas, correo y dinero, y pueden cambiar sin aviso. Abajo están el teléfono y el texto oficial de cada centro.
- Busque ayuda legal autorizada. Solo un abogado o un representante acreditado de una organización reconocida puede representarle. Vea la ayuda legal gratis por estado y desconfíe de los «notarios».
- Siga el caso en la corte. Si la persona tiene un caso en la corte de inmigración, la fecha de audiencia se consulta con su número A en ACIS. Fianzas de inmigración.
